A Hawkes' Nest provides all-day sun for tons of outdoor family activities: easy shallow lakeshore entry for young ones and elders, a dock with deeper water for crystal clear swimming, kayaks (single and tandem), paddleboat, numerous deck lounging options, a flat sports friendly lawn (badminton, soccer, baseball), horseshoes, basketball court, trampoline, yoga, biking, walking, marshmallow roasting, a treehouse lookout over the bay and more. Or... after a fun-filled day... relaxing on the dock, stargazing and moonlight canoodling are strongly encouraged.
INDOORS
Sleeps 10 in five bedrooms. Smartly designed, the cottage accommodates a couple of families or multi-generations. Main floor: two sleeping areas (Queen, Double/Full), three piece bathroom. Upstairs - three bedrooms (Queen, Queen, two singles), small office, full bath. Open concept living room/dining room/kitchen - with soaring ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, spectacular views of the lake and many ceiling fans for beautiful and cool cross-breezes. Fully equipped kitchen, harvest table for family dinners, Napoleon BBQ, baking utensils, all you need for culinary creations. Indoor activities abound: cozy fireplace, family games (Yahtzee, Bingo, Catan, Apples to Apples, Poker), art table in the breezy new screened porch, piano, luscious library, antique kitsch, weights, yoga mats, sauna, huge selection of movies, cable, unlimited wifi and desk with a view (but you may be too busy to use it).

This fantastic location on Little Redstone is a gorgeous 2 hr 45 min. drive from North Toronto; 5 min drive from the
Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve (hiking, biking,tall tree walks, wolf center, cookhouse restaurant). 10 minutes by road to
Kennisis Lake Marina, ice cream, future pickleball courts; 30 minutes to Haliburton: farmer/craft markets, stores, restaurants, hospital; 20 min to West Guilford Grocery Store; 30 min to popular Sir Sam's Ski Resort & mountain biking. We couldn't ask for more.

Interim Season: $3,453.98/week
Cleaning charge: Listed rental rate includes required cleaning fee of $150.
The removal of all garbage and personal food items will remain the responsibility of the renter.
