This privately owned summer home is meticulously finished with a comfortable dining room overlooking a sunken living room tastefully decorated and furnished with a cozy two sided wood burning fireplace that is shared with the master bedroom. All three bedrooms and the living room offer lovely views of the lake, with the master and second bedrooms having direct access to decks on which to enjoy a peaceful beverage and watch the sunrise or sunset. Little Redstone Lake is part of a 9 mile long four lake chain including Redstone, Little Redstone, and Upper and Lower Pelaw lakes. This is a very quiet lake offering great fishing, lots of islands and coves, diving cliffs, a wonderful sand beach, and several miles of rivers to explore. All the lands to the north and East of the cottage are part of the 70,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve which offers a Wolf Sanctuary, mountain biking and ATV trails, Nature walks, A Walk in the Clouds aerial Ropeway adventure and much more…in fact the Wolf Sanctuary is within a five minute drive (or 15 minutes walk) of the cottage.
