Grace Lake is a deep clear, pristine lake boasting great fishing – lake trout and bass, and home to a beautiful-sounding loon family. One whole side of the lake is uninhabited. You can travel from Grace Lake to Dark Lake right into the town of Wilberforce by water. The cottage is located minutes away from Algonquin Park which offers incredible hiking and biking trails. Another fascinating day trip is the Wolf Sanctuary in Haliburton Forest, also a short drive from Wilberforce. This cottage is perfect for the family desiring a relaxing country vacation.
The cottage is modern and fully equipped with dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, stove, a BBQ, washer, dryer, dishwasher, TV for viewing movies only, CD/DVD, fireplace. It sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms, master with double bed, 2nd bedroom with bunks and 3rd bedroom (on lower level) with a queen, and a queen size futon in the lower level play room. There are 2 full bathrooms: one on upper level, one on lower level with bathtub/shower combination. Upper level has a walk out to a cozy screened porch and a large full deck with a stunning view of the lake. The lot is large, gradually sloping to a sun deck connected to a dock at the shoreline. The lake is lightly traveled by boaters. There is no marina on the lake. There is a sand beach available at the end of the lake for cottagers’ use. There is also a fire pit for your evening enjoyment. Cottage is located within minutes of Algonquin Park and a 5 minute drive by car to the town of Wilberforce. This cottage provides a cozy setting for a wonderful family holiday. The cottage comes with canoe and an aluminum boat (with paddles/oars) and a kayak.
