Light and airy all-season comfortable cottage secluded from the main road on the Northshore of Kennisis Lake. This cottage retreat is graced with excellent south exposure offering early morning sunrises and all day sun.

Bedrooms
Sleeping includes 3 bedrooms: one master with king size bed and two additional bedrooms with a king size bed and a queen size bed which accommodates 6 comfortably. Master bedroom includes separate lakeside deck, walk-in closet, reading nook and ensuite. Bunkie on property is NOT AVAILABLE to include in the renting of this cottage.

Renters must provide their own linens and personal towels.

Living/Dining
The open space living / dining area features cathedral ceiling and a wall of windows that faces the lake providing spectacular views and natural light at every corner.

A wood burning stone fireplace at one end sets a cozy mood while the propane gas heat stove at the other end takes the nip out of cool evenings. A separate room beside the Living area offers a quiet cozy place to watch internet TV or play a DVD. There is a propane furnace.

The dining area includes a walk-out to the large deck featuring loungers and conversational outdoor furniture. There is also an a dining table and chairs and a propane fire bowl.

Bathrooms The cottage features two updated 3 piece bathrooms – one is a master ensuite and one main bathroom -both equipped with large walk-in showers. Kitchen The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, dishwasher, stove and fridge with ice-maker and is well stocked for entertaining. Filtered lake water is also available at the sink. The deck off the kitchen features a propane BBQ

Laundry
A small indoor laundry room includes a washer and dryer and additional full-size fridge for additional cooling of beverages & food.

Waterfront & Swimming
From the upper deck, twenty steps lead down to the water. The view from the dock is expansive and breathtaking.

A key feature to our rental cottage is its natural shoreline (145' of frontage) with a large 200 sq ft stationary dock situated right at the waters’ edge. Extending from the stationary dock is a large 12’x20’ floating dock with swim ladder. There is primarily deep water swimming from the dock with a limited rocky shallow area.

The swimming conditions are perfect with clean, clear water and no weeds.

A canoe and 2 kayaks are available for your enjoyment on the lake. (renters must provide their own life preservers)

If you want to bring your own power boat, our lake offers the Kennisis Lake Marina where you can launch your boat or should you prefer to rent a watercraft, this is also an option but book early for better selection.

*Sir Sam's - For the skiers you'll find skiing, snowboarding and other winter activities available at Sir Sam's which is about 35 minutes away.
