Sitting on the narrows between Lake Kashagawigamog and Grass Lake, it offers immediate access to swimming, boating, fishing and hiking in summer, and cross-country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in winter. Golfing and downhill skiing are a short drive away. Shopping, galleries, restaurants and numerous artist studios are close by in the Village of Haliburton and surrounding countryside, providing an opportunity to explore and enjoy the beautiful environment of the Highlands.
The cottage contains an attractive and cozy L-shaped living room with a dual seating area to either sit and chat in front of the wood stove or curl up to watch television. The well-equipped kitchen is bright and airy with a generous seating area. The dining room overlooks the lake and seats 10 comfortably. Kitchen appliances include stove, frig, dishwasher, and microwave. A washer and dryer are down the hall. The dining room seats 10 and overlooks the lake. There are 4 bedrooms (2 queen, 2 bedrooms with twins, optional single rollaway) and 1 ½ baths. In summer a screened porch and private deck provide enjoyable outdoor space. The lot slopes gently towards the lake with lots of privacy. 100’ of shoreline. Great for children with shallow sand and deeper water for swimming off the end of the dock.
