Bring your fishing gear! Take some worms, head out in our boat and drop in a line - you might get a surprise or two. The ministry stocks 2400 trout every year; trout are in deep water, bass are close to shore.
The Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve provides a great selection of interesting and challenging activities for young and old including: mountain bike trails, Wolf Centre, a ‘Walk in the Clouds’ tour, and observing the heavens at the Astronomy site.

Snowmobiling Haliburton County Snowmobile AssociationThe Haliburton County Snowmobile Association of Ontario invites sledders to enjoy 580 km of excellent wide groomed trails, spectacular scenery and abundant snow. The Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve boasts almost 200 km. of well groomed trails with small, heated rest facilities interspersed throughout the area. The ‘Wildlife’ area also has cross-country skiing trails, dog sledding, a Restaurant facility, and the Wolf Centre where tourists can see grey timber wolves in their natural habitat.
